We are very excited to be hosting one of the paintings for Four on Anglesey, an exciting installation by renowned landscape painter Anthony Garratt. The western painting of the exhibition is now on display in the walled garden at Plas and we look forward to welcoming visitors coming to see it.

Along with most of the world our thoughts are now firmly turning towards Christmas. Last year all our properties were full over Christmas and New Year and we are heading towards the same for this year! However, there are still some spaces in the calendar for this Christmas, and we would be delighted for you to spend yours in one of our Rhoscolyn holiday cottages.
Recently described as “the perfect Christmas house,” Plas sleeps 10 and would be a wonderful place to relax with the family for a memorable break. The house is within walking distance of a wonderful sandy beach, the Anglesey coastal path and an absolutely superb pub, and benefits from a stunning view of Snowdon in the distance – what could be better!
If you’d rather get away “a deux” then consider Plas Bach or the Cabbage Patch, our two single bedroom properties perfect for couples. With wood burning stoves and sky tv they are ideal for snuggling up in to watch the Downton Abbey Christmas Special! Imagine a relaxed Christmas away from the usual festive frenzy…
We look forward to welcoming you to our Rhoscolyn holiday cottages.
Anglesey Open Studios and Arts Weeks is an opportunity to visit the islands’ plethora of fantastic artists and buy their work. When we refurbish our holiday properties we are very keen to put as much local art on the walls as possible and the annual arts weeks were our introduction to Anglesey Art. For many artists it is the only time during the year they sell their work and we can’t reccommend enough taking the time to explore their studios, there are some real gems to be found!
For more information click here for a guide to the weeks and please book to stay in one of our properties when you visit – we still have some availability.
We’ve recently received this wonderful comment from a guest who stayed in Plas, one our Rhoscolyn holiday cottages, and thought we would share it:
“A lovely house with wonderful facilities and masses of space for three generations to spread themselves. The downstairs bedroom was really welcome for a wheel chair Grandad to feel comfortable. Our Christmas has been made most enjoyable, made better by the superb facilities and the Christmas tree.”
When people take the trouble to write comments like this it makes all the hard work we’ve put in worthwhile! Rhoscolyn Estate looks forward to welcoming you to our holiday cottages.
After years of it sitting dormant we are very excited to have started the restoration of the walled garden at Plas. Once a productive plot the garden had become overgrown and a large proportion of the walls had either collapsed or were about to. The overgrown trees and jungle of grass have now all been tamed and as I write a team of stonemasons are working on the walls. Watch this space for further updates!
Great news! We now have a facebook page. Have a look at our wonderful Rhoscolyn holiday cottages and catch up on more of our news at:
